Glenwood L. Garvey
Sr. Managing Director
Mr. Garvey leads GLGAssociates. He is responsible to participate in and oversee all the firm’s project assignments, its policies and operations. He has completed mixed-use developments, education, high-technology and community development projects for corporate, institutional and governmental clients in the US and 36-countries worldwide. Garvey graduated from Washington University with a BS in Architecture Engineering and Bachelor of Architecture degrees, and received his Master of Architecture in Urban Design from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. William H. Whitney
Director, Chief Economist
Mr. Whitney, Director and Chief Economist, previously served as a consultant with Arthur Andersen to assist in the development of their RE consulting practices both in the U.S. and in over 40-countries. He has worked extensively on the planning of resorts, new communities and mixed-use projects providing economic, market and feasibility studies to assist their development. He has a A.B degree in Political Science from Williams College and a Ph.D. degree in Urban Land Economics from the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, (UCLA).
Dr. Evanan Romero
Director, Exploration, Production and Refining Technology
Mr. Romero, Director, Exploration, Production and Refining Technology, was previously head of INTEVEP, the world’s largest Applied-Research Institute for the Petroleum Industry. He worked with Mr. Garvey over a period of 13- years in building of INTEVEP’s headquarters, general and specialized laboratories, and National Petroleum Library. Dr. Romero has a Ph.D. in Petrochemical Engineering from Stanford University, Menlo Park, Ca.
William H. Prather
Associate Director, Agri-Business and Infrastructure Projects
Mr. Prather is Associate Director for Agri-Business and Infrastructure Projects. He has extensive experience organizing and directing construction of pipelines, pump stations, and large bore projects for utility/government and agri-businesses in Oregon and Idaho. He was recently noted by the Welding Journal for his introduction of mechanized welding systems in the Northwest.
